My grandmother cried when Obamacare was upheld as constitutional

I don’t think I ever posted this, but yeah she was beyond upset. A lot of supporters of the law don’t know this, but Obamacare determines what benefits are covered and for who. My grandmother had a bone marrow transplant 10 years ago and it saved her life. She is a cancer survivor and the most active grandmother I know. She goes golfing with my little brother, takes me out to lunch a lot, gives me rides when I need them, and walks her dog several times a day. She’s 70 going on 71, so under Obamacare, she won’t be able to get another bone marrow transplant in 2-4 years when she needs it, simply because the law does not permit it for people as old as her. Basically, Barack Hussein Obama put an expiration date on my grammy’s life.

In the last few months of my mom’s life she was flown to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota to have extensive blood work done. They found a few things out about her and began treatment immediately which probably gave us another half a year with her. Obamacare prohibits the construction of new physician-owned hospitals like the Mayo Clinic. I try to imagine a world where my mom wouldn’t have had a Mayo Clinic to go to and it sucks.
